The day is made to suit you and your family
Whether the ceremony is intimate or there are a large number of family or friends attending your Naming Day. Choices can include cultural traditions, new traditions or old traditions, there is complete flexibility to make the day unique in every way. For peace of mind, also feel secure that you and your guests are covered by public liability insurance should anything unexpected happen.
How it works
At our no obligation meeting, which can be in person, or by video call, you get to know more about Julie and how she works with you to compose, conduct, and deliver your Ceremony. She will give you guidance, options and resources to help with choices about the ceremony and what you would like to include,
After gathering all the information and details of what you want included in the your Naming Day ceremony, Julie will put together a draft of your Naming Ceremony, make any changes, and when you are happy with the draft. We work on timing and setup and how you want the day to flow. Ask about props, that are available to assist with your day. We are now ready to go.
What will happen on the day.
On the day of your ceremony, Julie will arrive early to setup, she will MC the day and deliver the Ceremony according to your wishes, but also in a way relevant to fit with you and your family and friends.
On offer is an optional framed Naming Day Certificate that can be signed by godparents, family or friends.

Naming Days are mobile and can be held anywhere, at home, the beach, a park, a garden, there are so many choices.
Ceremonies & Rituals
Your Naming Ceremony can include grandparents, siblings, uncles, aunties, godparents or friends, music, readings, or absolutely anything else that you would like to add. How about a ritual, for example a "Sand Ceremony" or the "Lighting of candles", a "Time Capsule" or something special of your own. There are many ways to add meaning and symbolise this special day. Get in touch, I will forward information to you about different Rituals and how we can include them to suit you, your child and your family.
